Profile

 The Management of the Procurement Department is entrusted with ensuring all requirements of the Programme regarding medicines, medical and surgical items, vehicles, medical devices and other medical equipment and accessories, dental laboratory, x-ray, spare parts for the maintenance department, office equipment, tools and maintenance supplies. There is also a special section of the management for construction projects, operational maintenance, rental, and various support services.

 Our Vision is to supply the Programme Requirements by putting 90% into Tender according to the Tenders & Purchasing Governmental System and 10% from Direct Purchasing.

 The Department consists of different sections: Contract Section, Tender Section, Direct Purchasing – Pharmaceutical, Laboratory, Non-Medical , Medical Equipment, Medical/Surgical, Facilities & Maintenance, and Local Section. Follow-up Delivery Section helps in monitoring the delivery due date of Purchase Orders

  The Procurement Committee scrutinizes the cost of the item to be purchased. The Procurement System has fully developed work management by running a software in Arabic language established by the Government Procurement Directorate General of Medical Services of the Armed Forces. This New System has a significant impact on the speed of completion of work which had a positive impact on the quality of service provided to the patients.
